The Stanley plum is a sweet, rich prune plum that can be dried without being pitted! The flesh of the Stanley plum is tender, fine, and turns a beautiful purplish red when canned. Stanley plums are excellent for fresh eating, canning, preserves and drying.
A heavy annual producer once it matures into production age - which can take 5 years or more. Stanly is reliably self-fertile. A good plum selection for humid climates, except where black knot is a known problem.
Price starts out at $30 for the smallest trees, and rise according to size.
