Dark Lord Rhododendron

Dark Lord Rhododendron

From Weston Nurseries in Massachusetts. Never named by them, Dan Meier coined ‘Dark Lord’ on a visit to Wayne Mezitt at Weston’s.

The flower is deep, burgundy red, and has dark green foliage. The original plant by Wayne’s garage is about 8 feet high and 12 feet across. It is a sibling to the dark purple ´Tapestry´. Best in partial sun, with well drained, humitic soil, and regular water. Pollinator friendly.

Prices vary with size and health of plants, depending on season and year.
